Install Kalm on Kind
Install Kind
Kind is a tool for running local Kubernetes clusters using Docker container βnodesβ. If you are using Kind for the first time, please checkout its official website to get basic information and go through their installation process.
brew install kind
Create a new cluster
β― kind create cluster
Creating cluster "kind" ...
β Ensuring node image (kindest/node:v1.20.2) πΌ

β Installing CNI π
β Installing StorageClass πΎ
Set kubectl context to "kind-kind"
You can now use your cluster with:
kubectl cluster-info --context kind-kind

Install Kalm
# clone the repo
git clone https://github.com/kalmhq/kalm.git
cd kalm
./scripts/install.sh $(git rev-parse HEAD)
Initializing Kalm - 4/4 modules ready:
β kalm-operator
β cert-manager
β istio-system
β kalm-system
Kalm Installation Complete! π
To start using Kalm, open a port via:
kubectl port-forward -n kalm-system $(kubectl get pod -n kalm-system -l app=kalm -ojsonpath="{.items[0].metadata.name}") 3010:3010
Then visit http://localhost:3010 in your browser
